This is the journal of the members of the American Book Congress, an
esteemed and historic organization devoted to literature and music. The
American Book Congress is pleased to announce the acquisition of all assets,
stock, property, good will and facilities of World New York and of the
journal Paris Illustrated, exchanged for a signed first edition of H. L.
Mencken's The American Language. Negotiations are still underway for the
acquisition of New York Illustrated.
